Children’s Healing Studio Ltd. is a place where children feel cared for, heard, supported and loved. It is a place where children receive play-based interventions that support their development; help them to manage big life loss and change; and assist them to recognize, express, and regulate big emotions.
Children's Healing Studio Ltd. also provides consultation services for families and early childhood professionals. Our services include family coaching to support understanding of children's emotions and behaviours, support groups for children and families, and workshops and certifications for early childhood professionals related to child development. We are located in Vaughan ON, but virtual sessions are offered to support children, families, and professionals across the globe.

Dr. Elena Merenda, Child Development Specialist, is the owner of Children’s Healing Studio Ltd. She has more than 20 years of experience in early learning and therapeutic settings. Her background is in early childhood education, with a specific expertise in therapeutic play and supporting families with children who have special needs, including terminal illness, grief, and diagnosed disabilities.

The Children’s Healing Studio Ltd. is a place where children who are experiencing a wide range of difficult life circumstances can explore and express their emotions through play. It is a place where families can find professional support and advice, and a space where educators can learn how children grieve various losses and the role of the educator in supporting children through the grief process.”
